I’m about to go to college in the fall and major in communications at MSU, a largely accredited University. All my life I’ve wanted to be involed in fashion whether it be writing editorials or being a buyer. Will not majoring in some type of fashion merchadising/journalism/communications degree hinder my chances of getting a fashion orientated job? Or will I be A-OK with a great degree from a major university, not focused around fashion?

I really want a job in the fashion industry, and even though it sounds stupid i don’t know anything about fashion. So how can i start getting involved and learning about fashion?

I’m a senior in high school and starting to fill out applications for college. I really want to study fashion and my dream is to become a designer. What schools would you recommend for this type of degree?

I am 14 and I study fashion already in highschool, but I am wondering what college students studying fashion are reading.

If you are in college for fashion, could you please recommend any books, or sites that will help me?

I want something advanced. It doesn’t have to be high fashion, but I want to be able to have read something like that by the time I am in college.

I’m interested in fashion and eventually want to have my own line and open up my own boutique, but I don’t want to go to fashion school. My parents won’t pay for it and I want the traditional college experience.

Are there any GOOD (big emphasis on that because academically I’m doing pretty well) colleges/universities that have fashion majors and programs?
